These compound springs have just over 4 working coils and are suiable for all Hi-lift camshafts without the need for spring seat machining. They will allow up to .5" valve lift before coil binding. If over .5" lift then spring seat machining will be required. Can NOT be used with standard type top caps.Either machine factory type top caps or fit Race Steel top cap set PMR001
